How do I submit my school choices and what is the deadline for submission?
A unique S1 Personal Identification Number (S1 PIN) can be found on the top-right hand corner of the S1 Option Form. Students should use the S1 PIN to log in to the Secondary 1 Internet System (S1-IS) and submit their S1 school choices and options online. The S1-IS will be accessible from 11.30 am on Wednesday, 20 November 2024 to 3.00 pm on Tuesday, 26 November 2024 through MOE Sec 1 Posting website.

Meeting the indicative cut-off point does not guarantee admission to the school. The current year’s PSLE Score ranges may vary depending on the cohort’s school choice patterns and cohort size.

What time does school end and start?/ What are school hours in Swiss Cottage?
School starts at 7.30am (except for Tuesday, which starts 8 am) and ends around 3 to 3.30pm from Monday-Thursday depending on the timetable, and 12.30pm on Friday.

How often does the school conduct Home-based Learning (HBL) and how is it conducted?
HBL is usually conducted once every fortnight, typically on even week Fridays in Semester 1. The arrangement for HBL may change in Semester 2. Students will be informed accordingly. Students will be given assignments or work to be done based on the timetable. Subject teachers will inform them of the work accordingly.

Does the school have resources to support Special Educational Needs (SEN)? What is the support provided?
Yes. The school supports students with additional needs. We have a SEN Officer (SENO) who will work with teachers to help the students transit to the new learning environment and cater to their learning needs.

SC student pays $25/- per month. SPR pays $640/- per month. IS(ASEAN) pays $1,050/- per month. IS(NON-ASEAN) pays $2070/- per month.

Will my child be issued a Secondary School Smart Card/ Concession Card?
Yes. The Secondary School Smart card/ Concession Card will be issued some time late March. In the meantime, secondary 1 students can continue to use their Primary School Smart Card.
